autumn rituals with craftmongers
We are falling gently into Autumn.

A season that we all cherish here at Craftmongers. As we gather windswept branches and leaves, soak abundant acorns, hoard chestnuts and wild mushrooms, we thought it time to gather some seasonal inspiration to share with you all too. Our personal rituals that these crisp mornings and darkening evenings awaken.
Sending love and warmth xx
Here are a few slow seasonal rituals we enjoy within the monger team…
“I think one of my favourites is chopping up logs and kindling with a Jordan axe and stacking it beside the fire .. and gathering fallen branches on my walks for kindling too” - Jodi x
“I’ll be drinking pine needle FromTrees tea (on Natascha’s recommendation!) out of my Cliff Ellis mug, to boost my immune system as the days get colder” - Ella x
“I start making loads of warm and nourishing soups at this time of year… and love to gather pretty leaves (many of which end up in our window display) and take photos of all the colour in the woods right now!” - Rosie x
“I love collecting apples, make cakes, crumbles and compotes out of them, juice them and then sit with a cup of warm apple juice at the woodburner to enjoy re-reading one of my favourite books - Foxfire, Wolfskin and other stories of shapeshifting Women” - Natascha x
