Myth, folklore & wild wisdom - Two Evenings with Sharon Blackie & Brigit Anna McNeill
This spring we’re hosting two extraordinary authors whose work explores transformation, wildness and the power of story. From fairy tales that teach women how to reclaim their strength, to wild plants that guide us back into our bodies, these evenings offer space to reflect, reconnect and reimagine what healing might look like in turbulent times.
Award-winning author and psychologist Sharon Blackie discusses Ripening, her powerful exploration of how fairy tales offer women stories of courage, transformation and renewal. Drawing on mythology and psychology, she reclaims these ancient tales as guides for uncertain times.
Followed by Q&A and book signing.
Writer, herbalist and wilderness guide Brigit Anna McNeill joins us in conversation about The Wild Within, an immersive journey of healing through wild plants. Weaving folklore, ecology and personal story, she explores how reconnecting with the natural world can help us recover from trauma and rediscover belonging.
Followed by Q&A and book signing.
